With a phenomenal growth of visitors at the Pagoda, its needs have increased, and hence we need more people to fulfil them. There is a continuous need for experienced staff at the Pagoda who will design, define and execute processes that will set the wheel of the Pagoda’s mission into motion.
For those dedicating their time to the Pagoda but coming from outside, or those whose work will stretch into difficult hours, a place to stay at the Pagoda shall be arranged if deserved. Lunch shall be made available to all employees. Those staying at the Pagoda shall also be served breakfast and dinner.
For those who will be staying off-site, conveyance and other allowances shall be given as per Trust guidelines.

Store Manager
Books & Souvenir Store (Gorai, Borivali West and Minglaba, Andheri West)

Role & responsibilities:

• Responsibility of Counter sales for books & other merchandise at both the shops
• Maintain running accounts & inventory of available material
• Coordination with purchase department for stock ordering
• Reporting Sales performance to Trust

Eligibility:

• Graduate
• Basic computer skills are a must
• Experience in retail sale will be an added advantage

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage over the Counter sales for books & other merchandise
• Attending customer queries
• Restocking products on display from store room

Eligibility:

• HSC/ 12th Pass. Graduate preferred

• The Librarian is responsible for providing library services for the Institute and maintanance of the library and its collections.

• Head of Security for the Pagoda Complex Area
• Define & Manage 24x7 Security requirements within and around the Complex
• Liaise with local Police & Security agencies
• Liaise with EsselWorld Security team for access control from Essel Jetty
• Design & Manage Control Room & Disaster Management Plan

Eligibility:

• Retired / Ex- Army / Military officers (Major & Above) / Retired Police person
• OR experience of 10+ years in similar roles in large establishments
• Hands-on experience of handling major threats/attacks will be preferred

Role & responsibilities:

• Site Security
• Ensuring a warm and hospitable environment to visitors.
• Ensuring secure movement of people within the complex
• Ensuring effective operations of restrictions set up at specific areas
• Ensuring disciplined movement of visitors along defined areas during high footfall periods

• HSC / 12th pass preferred.
• OR experience of 3+ years in similar role.
• Working knowledge of Hindi & Marathi. Ability to understand English will be an added advantage.

• Giving information to Visitors about Pagoda and Vipassana Meditation
• Operating Videos and Aanapaan sessions

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification required HSC / 12th pass.
• Experience of 2 to 3 years in similar role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Hindi, English & Marathi.
• Must have done atleast Two 10 days Course and One Seva in 10 days course.

Role & responsibilities:

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee staff on a daily basis
• Check rooms and common areas for cleanliness
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Respond to customer complaints and special requests
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
